Due to the ban imposed on grain exports in Russia, the prices of everyday staples such as beer, flour and bread have risen considerably. The ban was imposed in Russia in early August due to crop devastation as a result of severe drought and wildfires across the country. Owing to the ban, panic has hit the European grains market and has seen prices for Wheat rise by 12%.
