Hopu and COFCO Buys Mengniu.
News.xinhuanet.com are reporting that Hopu and China National Oils, Foodstuffs and Cereals Corp (COFCO) will invest 20% into China Mengniu Dairy Co. The two companies combined are expected to invest approximately US$ 800,000,000 – the biggest deal ever seen in the Country’s food industry.
