As reported by freshplaza.com, a protest was held in Arilje, Serbia recently, where producers were found to be littering the streets with Raspberries from their recent harvests. Serbian Raspberry producers demonstrated their dissatisfaction and frustrations with this year's Raspberry purchase prices, and have demanded a retail price rise for Raspberries from €1.5 to €2 per kilogram.
