Low prices paid for Oranges are forcing Spanish growers not to resume harvesting the fruit. A wider Orange acreage has increased output by 23%. The higher crop expected this year was already threatening lower field prices, but the returns are now considered too low by growers. Prices are at about e12/100 kg. Clementine is performing slightly better on the market, with prices of e25/100 kg. For more detailed information on the many Juices from our range, please contact FDL on +44 (0) 20 7488 0777.
